What are the responsibilities and job description for the Procurement Intern position at Vicinity Energy, Inc.?
Summary
This position will serve as support to our Corporate Procurement team in their day-to-day operations which includes interfacing with internal stakeholders across different company orgs as well as external stakeholders. This is a part-time and temporary position located at our Corporate HQ in Boston, MA. This role will report to the Procurement Analyst.
Responsibilities
Help to create dashboards and tracking templates for new policies and procedures.
Review new vendors and determine vendor eligibility through company policy.
Track and approve invoices.
Interface with vendors on day-to-day changes.
Lead a project for the term of the internship.
Assist in maintenance of category management.
Track changes in spend.
Help promote adaption of new policies.
Qualifications and Experience
Currently enrolled in a four-year undergraduate degree program focused on business studies, supply chain, or other relevant study area.
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
Analytical mindset.
Attention to detail.
Communication skills.
Experience with ERP systems.
Experience with dashboards.
Experience with PowerBi preferred.
