Minimum Qualifications:
Education:

Bachelor's level degree in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems desired, may accept HS Diploma with additional years of experience.

Experience:
- Account & Email Creation: Responsible for creating and managing user accounts and email addresses.
- Active Directory Management: Handle Active Directory tasks, including user management, group policy enforcement, and organizational unit (OU) structure.
- Network, Software, and Hardware Troubleshooting:
- Submit port requests or configuration change requests.
- Troubleshoot physical connections and hardware issues.
- Provide basic helpdesk support for users.
- Trusted Agent (TA) Duties:
- Responsible for resetting PINs or issuing tokens.
At least 3 years professional experience in systems administration
- TS/SCI level Clearance required.
Job Description:
The Systems Administrator administers and supports daily operational requirements of computer network systems including workstation, file servers, and web servers. Duties typically involve the installation of hardware, software, systems upgrades, network accounts, network security, and web page design, interface and updates, and local system design documentation. This administrator will maintain, troubleshoot, and implement network security tools including firewalls, anti-virus, and intrusion detection services. This Administrator trains staff on software applicable to their position, assists customers with information technology, monitors system configuration (hardware and software), and provides instruction on computers and applications.
Essential Duties of the Job:
- Ability to communicate task requirement information to client in a clear and concise manner.
- Must be able to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time, as well as lead and participate in meetings and working groups.
- Requires visual acuity to use a keyboard.
- Must be able to attend work each day, during scheduled hours, unless on travel or approved time off.
- Ability to work on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face-to-face
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- While performing duties of job, employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hand to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.
- Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- May be exposed to chemicals related to office equipment.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate (i.e. general office environment).
