Job Description
Inventory Management:
- Maintaining accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (SAP).
- Ensuring proper storage and organization of goods.
- Conducting regular inventory audits and cycle counts.
- Overseeing the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.
- Managing warehouse space and layout to maximize efficiency.
- Coordinating with suppliers, carriers, and other departments to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Implementing and enforcing safety protocols and procedures.
- Recruiting, training, and supervising warehouse staff.
- Motivating and evaluating employee performance.
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics management, business administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 7 - 10 years warehouse experience with at least 2 of them in a supervisory role
- Strong computer skills specifically with Word, Excel and Outlook
- Experience using SAP is strongly preferred
- Ability to utilize data to come up with creative problem-solving solutions
- Demonstrated experience in contract negotiation.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and tools.
- Relevant certifications such as Certified in Production and Inventory Management a plus.
