Position : Functional Maintenance Rehab Technician / Rehab Aide
Location : Brandon, FL
Salary : $18-$20 per hour

We are seeking a compassionate and driven individual to assist with maintaining and enhancing our residents' functional mobility and overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist residents with ambulation and mobility exercises as prescribed by the rehab department and physicians.
- Perform Assisted Active Range of Motion (AAROM) and Passive Range of Motion (PROM) exercises to support residents' rehabilitation goals.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitize all equipment and surfaces used in the functional maintenance program.
- Help transfer residents safely in and out of wheelchairs as part of their therapy routine.
- Ensure that splints and braces are correctly applied and removed by the nursing staff in accordance with medical orders and wearing schedules.
- Monitor and report any changes in residents' functional abilities, skin integrity, or overall condition to the nursing manager or rehab director.
- Lead group wellness exercises for residents, fostering an engaging and active environment (as directed by the Rehab Therapy staff).
- Other duties as assigned by the Rehab Director.
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Prior experience as a Rehabilitation Technician preferred.
- Experience working in a long-term care facility is a plus.
