Technology Director
Primary Purpose:
Responsible for the overall management of the Technology Department and strategic planning of technology systems districtwide. Provide expertise and direction in the development, deployment, and use of informational technology in the district. Ensure efficient and effective access to information and related technology by all campuses and administrative departments.
Qualification Guidelines:
Education/Certifications:
Bachelor's degree
Experience:
Three years’ experience in supervision and management of a technology department for a large organization
Special Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Knowledge of computer network, hardware, and software applications
Knowledge of computer applications development and implementation
Ability to manage budget and personnel; coordinate district function
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to interpret and implement policy and procedures
Ability to interpret data
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Assistant Director of Technology/Digital Learning, Network Administrator, Systems Administrator, Data Management Coordinators, Data Systems Specialist, Technology Systems Trainer, Computer Technicians, Technician Office Clerk and Technology Department Secretary
