Administrative Assistant: (24 hrs/Week)
Reports to: Administrative Director (AD)
Principle Function: The Administrative Assistant is primarily responsible assisting the Administrative Director with ensuring that the ministerial and administrative functionalities of the church are current and operating in excellence.

- Excellent written communication skills, time management skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments
- A team player, adaptable, flexible and grace-filled in a fast-paced demanding environment
- Strong familiarity with social media platforms
- Basic familiarity with livestreaming
- Understanding of how to use Streamyard and Zoom or a willingness to learn
- Competency with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus, as well as any other creative skills relating to photography, design or any other content strongly desired.
I. Communications & Social Media Management
- Prepare weekly connection and ministry eblasts as needed.
- Draft PSAs, online bulletins, letters of recommendation, invitations, and follow-up.
- Assist with communications and clerical tasks in the office
- Assist AD on the scheduling, development and review of advertisement, radio, and print materials for the church as needed.
- Help with creating social media and website content to keep site fresh including blogs, calendar, prayer requests, member database system, pastor’s notes, volunteer opportunities, and the job board, track and analyze analytics.
- Develop and schedule text in church marketing messages
- Assist Pastor with tasks upon request
II. Office Administration
- Update online ministry calendar regularly
- Assist with the set-up of staff, board, ministry meetings or special activities (i.e. luncheons, meetings, holidays and church-wide events).
- Work with Financial Administrator and AD for all rental contracts initiated by this position (event rentals, weddings, funerals, concerts, birthdays, and etc.). AD to review and sign off on all contractual agreements.
- Assist AD with contacting and following up with special guest invitations, travel coordination/logistics and special requests for all general church, departments/auxiliaries’ special events.
- Help develop or customize templates for administrative processes.
- Run office errands
- Provide broad-based support
