Church Executive Assistant JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Summary :
The Church Executive Assistant will be responsible for the administrative duties of the church, building maintenance, church database, and general office responsibilities. An excellent candidate for this job will demonstrate leadership, interpersonal skills, light bookkeeping, excellent record-keeping, and strong technological abilities. All duties will be performed based on professional training and experience with minimal supervision. This position is directly supervised by the Executive Pastor or designee. This is a full-time position working 40 hours / week up to $25 / hour. Medical insurance is included and available after 90 days.
DUTIES INCLUDE :
Administrative / Facilities Management :
- Work closely with the Bookkeeping and Finance Committee in managing the budget.
- Prepare and maintain personnel and payroll records, which includes processing payroll.
- Oversee and maintain member records and church databases.
- Answer the phones and make sure messages get to the right departments.
- Open and distribute mail and draft correspondence as needed.
- Liaison with facilities to schedule maintenance.
- Manage all vendors / maintenance contracts.
- Schedule / Calendar all meetings and rehearsals that will take place at the church.
- Take minutes at all staff meetings.
- Oversee renting the church facilities and enforce church policies for facility usage.
- Order all kitchen, worship, and custodial supplies.
- Run various errands for church events and meetings.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :
Salary : $23 - $25
