What are the responsibilities and job description for the Childcare Assistant Director/ HR Admin position at Victory Church?
Job Summary: This unique role will have a duel responsibility of Assistant Director for Victory Montessori and Human Resources for both the Montessori and Victory Church. You will support the Director in daily operations, including but not limited to, helping teachers develop their curriculum, searching for grants to improve our operations, and recruiting families through social media and marketing, while also acting as a floater, filling in classrooms where needed. In addition, manage Human Resources per the direction of the Senior Pastors.
Key Responsibilities for Victory Montessori:
Assist the Director in overseeing the daily operations of the center, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and licensing requirements
Provide programs and curriculum that promote spiritual growth to students.
Maintain open and effective communication with parents, addressing their concerns, providing updates on their child's progress, and collaborating on strategies to support their child's development.
Assist in hiring, training, and supervising the center.
Ensure all staff and student files are up to date and in compliance with licensing requirements.
Secure grant funding to address revenue and facility needs not covered through other sources.
Oversee policies, systems, and procedures, train staff appropriately.
Supervising, educating and supporting students in the classroom.
Help develop and implement yearly budget.
Manage office and childcare supplies
Qualifications for Victory Montessori:
- Director Qualified as determined by Colorado ECE
- At least five years of experience in early childhood education, with a minimum of 1 year in an admin role.
- Knowledge of best practices in early childhood education, including developmentally appropriate practices, curriculum design, and assessment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, staff, and community partners.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff to achieve high levels of performance.
- Knowledge of applicable regulations and policies related to early childhood education, including licensing, accreditation, and safety.
Human Resources Key Responsibilities:
- HR Regulatory compliance and reporting.
- Policy development and documentation.
- Employee relationship management.
- Company-employee communications.
- Facilitate open enrollment annually.
- Regulatory compliance with all applicable Federal, State, and local regulation.
- Company handbook policy updates and implementation.
- Employment verifications and unemployment responses, as needed.
- Management and upkeep of all company personnel files.
- Manage grievance/incident reporting and response.
- Employee morale and engagement. Coordinate employee events and activities across all offices.
- Leave of absence communication.
- Assist with advising managers on employee counseling, coaching and performance plans.
- Offboarding, termination and exit checklists.
- Handle employee concerns.
- Handle employee questions related to benefits, payroll, HR matters.
Payroll
Assist Payroll as needed with:
- Review timecards for accuracy and reconcile timecard discrepancies.
- Communicate with accounting on any payroll changes
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $22.00 - $24.00
Expected hours: 40 hours per week
