Position Status : Full-time

Classification : Non-exempt

SUMMARY

The Tulsa Dream Cener Program Coordinator works with individuals and families to assist the vaious needs of the North and West Tulsa Communities. The Program Coordinator will work as part of the TDC Programs team to create relationships with key community-based organizations and identify each need of individuals who would benefit from Tulsa Dream Center or other services and programs offered. This role coordinates and assists with administration for the programs.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Establish, coordinate, and assist the Tulsa Dream Center programs and its logistics and administration.
  • Coordinate donation pick-ups and requests from outside organizations as needed.
  • Meet with various company contacts and conduct meetings related to Tulsa Dream Center programming.
  • Attend all required meetings to remain updated on Tulsa Dream Center programs.
  • Update volunteer information in volunteer systems including : VOMO, Fellowship One and Salesforce.
  • Attend Growth Track, Week 3, to assist in promoting Volunteer opportunities at Tulsa Dream Center.
  • Attend Tulsa community events to recruit volunteers and promoting Tulsa Dream Center programs assigned by the Program Director.
  • Coordinate with Volunteer Coordinator at Main Campus to funnel new volunteers through the approval process and be the volunteer liaison for TDC Volunteers to assist them with completing the application process.
  • Maintain volunteer files to ensure information is tracked and filed accordingly and correctly.
  • Participate and assist in coordinating the volunteers and programs for Tulsa Dream Center large events and Super Saturdays to assist with volunteer placement and arrangement.
  • Assist in planning and coordinating events at Tulsa Dream Center.
  • Innovate and develop processes and procedures to enhance the volunteer process that results in more Dream Team applications.
  • Innovate and develop processes and procedures to enhance the programs at Tulsa Dream Center that results in more community members being served through TDC programs.
  • All other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :

  • some college preferred in related field.
  • Project Management Certification or experience preferred.
  • Understands current community needs and Tulsa Dream Center programs.
  • Possesses excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Possesses excellent, efficient organizational skills.
  • Enjoys interacting and working with a wide demographic of individuals in a team setting including volunteers, clients, staff, donors, and outside organizations.
  • Physical Requirements

    The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to :

  • Physical exertion such as standing, bending, stooping, crouching, lifting and reaching; and walk a short to long distances.
  • Lift and carry up to 40 pounds or what is necessary to move office supplies or necessary marketing equipment.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk.
  • Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
