Job Title: Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) and a Family Nurse Practitioner may apply
Job Classification: Full-time, in-person
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8 hour shifts (no weekends, no holidays, no night calls)
Reporting Relationship: Supervising Physician
Location: On-Site at Victory Clinic office in in Junction City, KS
Salary: negotiable based on previous training and experience level

Primary Job Purpose:
The Nurse Practitioner is responsible for overseeing patient care, including medical consults, treatment plans, treatment oversight, and follow-ups. The Nurse Practitioner works to foster a culture that is patient-first focused, in a safe and effective clinic environment.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Provides patient care through all of the processes, from: new patient phone intakes, consulting and assisting with patients of the other providers on the team at other locations, and patient care follow-ups.
· Supervises TMS & Spravato techs and nurses, and evaluates their patient care.
· Ensures the clinic is compliant with current laws, policies, and procedures.
· Keeps and organizes patient records including: all documentation in Electronic Health Record(s) to keep it up to date for patient care, coding and billing
· Maintains work schedule for patient consults and follow-up.
· Adjusts patient protocols according to measured based care. Stabilizes Rare Adverse Reactions.
· Focuses on improving the quality and efficiency of the level of care delivered to patients.
· Works with insurance verification including: insurance eligibility, estimating costs of services, prior authorization, and overall follow-ups.
· Performs additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
· PMHNP or APRN with Family Medicine Board certification required and license to practice in Kansas. Eligibility to be credentialed to care for patients who have Medicare, Tricare, VA benefits, commercial insurances, and any other insurances required. Ability to qualify to obtain medical liability insurance required. Maintenance of DEA required.
· Three (3) years’ experience preferred, but new graduates with the right skill set would be considered. Prior leadership experience, preferred.
· A strong background in healthcare and/or mental health required, but we would consider a new graduate.
· BLS required. Seizure first aid training, SPRAVATO REMS certification training, TMS system training, and EHR training will be provided.
· Additional customer service experience: such as the restaurant/service/hospitality/spa industry is preferred.
· Necessary skill set includes empathy, listening skills, curiosity, ability to learn new skills, teamwork, strong communication skills, showing up to work, organizational ability, comfort with hands on patient care, and physical fitness sufficient to operate TMS system.
Work Environment:
· Professional and patient care oriented environment in a medical office setting.
· Interaction with staff and patients with potential for professional development.
· Travel to our other KS locations on occasion may be requested.
Note: the TMS system is a heavy magnet (similar to an MRI) and people with certain conditions (such as pace maker or pregnancy) would not be advised to work around the system.
