Overview
We are seeking some immediate and reliable help for our growing full service landscaping/gardening company with a plan to niche down into more foodscaping installations. You will be working with the owner Kevin (horticulturist) as his right hand to fulfill our growing list of clients for the upcoming season.
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Gardener to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in horticulture and landscape maintenance, with a commitment to creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces. This role involves working with various plants, flowers, and landscaping features to ensure they thrive and enhance the aesthetic appeal of the environment.

Duties
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks including planting, pruning, and weeding to promote healthy growth.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools for various gardening tasks such as digging, trimming, and edging.
- Irrigate plants effectively to ensure optimal moisture levels in the soil.
- Assist in the management of greenhouse operations, including planting seeds and nurturing young plants.
- Conduct lawn care activities including mowing, fertilizing, and pest control with an emphasis in chemical free/ regenerative practices.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of gardening tools and equipment.
- Collaborate with team members to design and implement landscaping projects that meet client specifications.
- Monitor plant health and identify any issues related to pests or diseases.
Requirements
- Previous experience in gardening or landscape maintenance is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of irrigation techniques and plant care best practices.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in gardening tasks.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting heavy objects and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for growing plants and maintaining landscapes.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to work independently when needed.
