Responsibilities:
- Provide peer support and mentoring to individuals with mental health and/or substance use disorders
- Assist individuals in developing and achieving their recovery goals
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Conduct group sessions and facilitate support groups
- Utilize crisis intervention techniques to deescalate and manage crisis situations
- Advocate for clients' rights and access to appropriate services
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client interactions
Experience:
- Certification as a Peer Specialist or lived experience with mental health and/or substance use disorders
- Knowledge of behavioral health systems and resources
- Experience in crisis management and intervention
- Familiarity with motivational interviewing techniques
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
