Position Summary
The TA Manager oversees and manages the Transitional Assistance team, ensuring that services provided to individuals meet the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and compliance. This role includes supervision of TA Coordinators, case management oversight, reporting, and liaising with external partners and agencies. The TA Manager will play a key role in supporting individuals through housing assistance, community support services, and transitional planning.
Key Responsibilities
1. Program Leadership & Oversight:
• Oversee day-to-day operations of the TA program, ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality services.
• Supervise and mentor TA Coordinators and staff, providing ongoing training, guidance, and support.
• Ensure caseloads are manageable and staff assignments are appropriately balanced.
• Develop and implement systems to monitor program effectiveness and streamline workflows.
2. Client Case Management Support:
• Support TA Coordinators in assessing client needs, coordinating housing searches, and providing community support.
• Ensure all client assessments, plans, and records are completed timely, accurately, and in compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
• Address escalated client concerns or challenges with sensitivity and professionalism.
3. Compliance & Reporting:
• Ensure compliance with agency policies, federal/state regulations, and funding requirements.
• Maintain and audit program files and documentation to ensure accuracy and confidentiality.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to track program performance, client outcomes, and service utilization.
4. Staff Development:
• Provide regular performance reviews, coaching, and professional development opportunities for staff.
• Conduct staff meetings to communicate program updates, address challenges, and foster team collaboration.
• Assist with the recruitment, onboarding, and training of new TA staff.
5. Partnership & Collaboration:
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with external agencies, housing providers, community partners, and funding organizations.
• Represent the TA program at stakeholder meetings, community forums, and events.
• Collaborate with internal departments, such as Quality/Compliance, HR, and Finance, to ensure program alignment with organizational goals.
6. Budget & Resource Management:
• Monitor program expenditures and ensure proper use of resources.
• Identify areas for cost savings and efficiency improvements without compromising service delivery.
7. Other Duties:
• Take on additional tasks and projects as assigned by their supervisor.
• Provide coverage for TA Coordinators, if needed, to ensure client support continuity.
*This is a temporary full-time position (3 months).
Requirements
Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor's degree in social work, Human Services, Public Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a case management, housing, or human services role, including at least 1-2 years in a supervisory/management capacity.
• Skills:
o Strong leadership and team management abilities.
o Excellent organizational and time management skills.
o Proficient in case documentation, reporting, and compliance requirements.
o Strong communication and interpersonal skills with diverse populations.
o Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and case management software.
• Other Requirements:
o Ability to travel to various program sites and client meetings.
o Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
o CORI clearance and acceptable driving record.
Working Conditions:
• Office-based with regular travel to program locations, client homes, and community partner sites.
• Occasional evening or weekend hours may be required.

Salary : $60,000 - $65,000
