Position Summary:
The Director of Quality Assurance (QA) is responsible for leading the overall quality assurance initiatives across Victory Human Services (VHS), ensuring compliance with regulatory and credentialing requirements, improving organizational efficiency, and enhancing quality outcomes. This position collaborates closely with all programs and leadership to drive consistency and excellence in quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee all quality assurance efforts across the organization, focusing on regulatory compliance, credentialing, and performance improvement initiatives.
• Lead the development and implementation of quality assurance policies, procedures, and tools to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Manage internal and external audits, including DDS, AFC, MassAbility, DPH, and other credentialing bodies.
• Monitor compliance with industry standards and oversee the implementation of corrective and preventive action plans (CAPAs).
• Conduct annual surveys with internal and external stakeholders and develop action plans based on results.
• Ensure adherence to credentialing and licensing requirements across all programs and services.
• Develop a 1-5 year strategic QA plan for VHS and oversee its implementation and monitoring.
• Collaborate with leadership and program directors to implement quality systems and training that enhance performance and service delivery.
• Provide organization-wide oversight of risk management activities and incident reporting systems.
• Serve as the lead coordinator for all quality-related audits and inspections, ensuring timely preparation and follow-up.
• Supervise the Quality Assurance team, including oversight of quality inspection tools, reports, and documentation systems.
• Support the Human Rights Committee to ensure individual and organizational compliance with regulatory standards.
• Participate in local, state, and federal policy meetings to stay current with evolving compliance requirements.
Requirements
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in quality assurance, compliance, or regulatory oversight.
• Strong understanding of credentialing requirements, risk management, and quality improvement methodologies.
• Experience leading audits and implementing corrective actions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, data analysis, and reporting tools.
