Sprint Mart Job Description – Food Service Team Leader

 

Title:Food Service Team Leader
Reports to:Facility Leader
Function:Promote store sales and growth through quality leadership in all divisions of the store

 

Responsibilities to  
Store Personnel:

2. Fully train and develop all employees

3. Communicate and delegate work in an appropriate manner

4. Hold employees accountable for their performance and actions

6. Provide accurate, timely employee evaluations and feedback

7. Help employees establish meaningful goals

8. Follow up on employee goal progress and provide assistance as needed

9. Accurately and consistently document employee performance

11. Send employees to training programs as scheduled

12. Effectively counsel and motivate employees on job related matters.

14. Takes appropriate action with all FS Team Members in the store.

15. Constantly utilizes the expertise of the Food Service District Leader to roll out new products, train employees on food handling techniques, and confers with them on problems they might have in the store’s food service division

1. Works closely with the Food Service District Leader and the Facility Leader to ensure the food service division in the store is an integral and profitable part of the store’s operation.
Responsibilities in Loss Prevention and Control Factors:

2. Conduct inventory counts as scheduled and resolve variances immediately

3. Complete the Inventory Shortage Action Plan as directed

4. Maintain organized, clean, and secure storage areas

5. Maintain and evaluate store tracking charts each day

6. Maintain open communication with the Facility Leader

1. Control of cash and inventory loss through effective management
Responsibilities in Completion of Reports and Paperwork:

3. Ensure accuracy in all paperwork

4. Maintain all paperwork in an organized and secure manner

5. Maintain a professional rapport with Support Center personnel

1. Complete all paperwork on time (daily and other)
Responsibilities in General Store Operation, and other divisions in the facility:

2. Maintain an adequate and appropriate staff

3. Adhere to contract agreements

4. Maintain the store and premises in a safe, secure manner

5. Maintain inventory levels to avoid out-of-stock and overstock situations

6. Comply with all laws, rules, regulations, and policies

7. Complete assignments as directed

1. Ensure store is open during designated hours
Responsibilities to Image:

2. Ensure compliance of all employees to the company uniform policy

3. Present self in a neat, clean, professional manner

4. See that employees present themselves in a neat, clean, professional manner

5. Upholds all standards of every operation in the facility. Ensures all employees are following all company guidelines regarding dress and image.

1. Maintain store image standards each day
Responsibilities to Sales:

2. Adhere to pricing policies and maintain an accurate, current pricebook

3. Achieve sales goals

1. Promote suggestive sales through training, example, and reinforcement
Responsibilities to Service:

2. Promote proper use of Empowerment Vouchers by employees

3. Resolve customer complaints in a timely, professional manner

1. Promote the practice of "Greet-Smile-Thank" through training and example
Responsibilities to Profitability:

2. Attain margin goals

3. Control expenses

4. Operate within all budget limits

5. Work diligently to maintain low levels of employee turnover

1. Operate the store in as profitable a manner as possible
Responsibilities to Goal Setting:

2. Set goals for improved store operation on a regular basis

3. Sets realistic, challenging, measurable goals

4. Achieve personal goals and learn from the attempted goal process

5. Follow up on goals for self and personnel to ensure progress

1. Maintain personal professional development through effective goal setting
Required Skills, Abilities, and Characteristics:

2. Able to stand for long periods of time (8 hours or more)

3. Able to work in a team

4. Willing to do repetitive work

5. Honest

6. Dependable.

1. Able to lift 50 pounds
