GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES :
Our client is seeking a Medical Assistant. The candidate is responsible for assisting with all functions associated with the front office and as a member of the patient care team. These duties include scheduling, coordinating patient services, performing check-in procedures, patient preparation, recording vitals and medical history, instrument care, and a variety of front office tasks in a clinical setting. The employee must be an effective communicator in written and verbal communication and have the ability to work effectively with medical staff, authorizations, external agencies, and patients.
Role and Responsibilities :
The candidate will be an essential part of the patient care team, providing support to providers and clinical staff. Key responsibilities include managing clinic workflows, performing patient intake, scheduling appointments, preparing for in-office procedures, documenting in the electronic medical record (EMR), caring for medical instruments, and completing various administrative duties in a clinical setting. This role requires strong communication skills, a passion for healthcare, a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care, and the ability to work professionally with patients, clinical staff, office personnel, and external organizations.

- Qualifications
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with medical staff, authorization teams, external agencies, and patients.

Education Requirements :
Work authorization
High school or equivalent
Certified Medical Assistant
BLS Certification
Healthcare experience (Preferred)
