- Act as a brand ambassador for Victra
- Seek qualified and talented candidates utilizing a variety of sourcing platforms including but not limited to social media, career fairs, cold calls, employee referrals, college & universities, and other creative methods to locate qualified individuals
- Thoroughly pre-screen resumes and vet job applicants to ensure they meet the candidate profile
- Have knowledge of the selection process and be able to provide this knowledge to Field Management
- Build and maintain network of high potential candidates
- Conduct interviews (phone or in-person) and train managers on best interview practices
- Continually learn and maintain a high level of understanding for social media platforms, employee referral programs, networking and unique opportunities and events
- Take steps to ensure a consistent and positive candidate experience.
- Work collaboratively with hiring managers and leadership to improve employee retention and development.
- Dedicate in helping to work through headcount challenges, including employee turnover.
- Participate and travel to on-site hiring events and career fairs within assigned territory
- Raise the bar. Understand the difference between good and great candidates and step in to advise hiring managers on selecting best candidates with overarching goal to reduce turnover
- Collaborate regularly with hiring managers to discuss pipeline of candidates and work proactively to open/close requisitions
- Understand how to improve various recruitment metrics and achieve benchmarks set for time to fill, source of hire, hiring manager satisfaction, and others.
- Teaching hiring managers how to become experts with talent management.
- Performing all other job-related duties as requested
You have experience building successful, productive relationships with all levels of leadership, and are highly collaborative within a team environment. You are an independent thinker that understands active listening and problem-solving skills are must to be a successful Recruiter. We also look for you to bring:
- Degree in Human Resources, Communications, Business Management, or similar field of study (preferred)
- Minimum of 2-4 years of high volume, multi-state, full-cycle recruiting experience.
- Background within a retail, restaurant or service industry as a Recruiter, Sourcer, or Talent Acquisition Partner.
- Working knowledge of ADP Applicant Tracking System (ATS) is a plus, but any general knowledge of an ATS is a must.
- Excellent email and oral communication skills with ability to meet deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Boolean search strategies, and other recruitment sourcing platforms.
- Discipline and experience working with a remote workforce.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds
- Ability to sit for long periods of time
