Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Care Specialist to join our team. The Care Specialist will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and support to individuals in need of care services. To be successful in this role, the agent needs to be strong in multi-tasking.
Responsibilities
- Utilize strong customer service skills to assist clients with inquiries and provide information on available care services
- Analyze client needs and preferences to match them with appropriate care solutions
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently
- Communicate effectively with clients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to medical office protocols
- Handle phone calls with professionalism and courtesy
- Understand what types of appointments goes in what chair and on what days
- Classifying appointment types appropriately
- Attach services to appointment
- Process all incoming referrals
- Complete any reschedules needed for offices
- Respond to any text messages through RevenueWell
- Process any appointment request through RevenueWell
- Listen and respond to voicemails
Accounting
- Read patient ledgers
- Explain to patients why they have a balance
- Collect patient balances over the phone
Experience
- Proficiency in English; multilingual abilities are a plus
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- Strong computer skills for data entry tasks
- Previous experience in customer service roles required
- Bilingual proficiency is highly desirable
- Knowledge of phone etiquette and communication best practices
**At least 1 year of medical office experience required**
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
