We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Director to join our team in a childcare setting. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and experience working with children of various age groups.
*Duties*
- Assist the Director in overseeing daily operations of the childcare facility
- Provide support in managing staff, scheduling, and maintaining a safe and nurturing environment
- Implement educational programs and activities that promote child development
- Support teachers in classroom management and behavior guidance
- Collaborate with parents to ensure open communication and address any concerns effectively
_Able to take payment and manage certain financial duties such as collecting, recording, and calling parents for payment.
*Skills*
- Experience in childcare, infant care, daycare, and preschool settings
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- Ability to educate and engage children in age-appropriate activities
- Strong skills in behavior management and creating a positive learning environment
- Proficient in classroom management techniques to support teachers

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
