Dental Receptionist

*Overview*

We are seeking a bilingual outgoing Dental Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental clinic by managing front desk activities and providing excellent customer service to patients.

*Duties*

- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner

- Schedule and confirm dental appointments.

- Review and educate patients on treatment plans and financial responsibilities

- Verify insurance coverage and process insurance claims and making sure estimates match claims.

- Maintain and manage patient records from initial forms and paperwork through billing procedures with accurate data entry of all patient information

- Greeting patients and guiding them through their office experience

- Handle patient inquiries in timely manner, both in person and over the phone

- Maintains hygienist and doctor schedule. Ensures every patient has a doctor and hygiene appointment upon check out

- Collection of fees owed to the practice

- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and patient privacy

- Perform other related job duties as assigned such as cleaning, organizing, and assisting the dentist and other staff members as needed

*Skills*

- Proficiency in dental software systems or willingness to learn.

- Experience working at the front desk of a dental clinic is preferred

- Knowledge of coding procedures for billing purposes

- Ability to perform insurance verification tasks accurately

- Familiarity with managing medical records in a healthcare setting

- Strong organizational skills and attention to details in all tasks

- Bilingual. Proficiency in English and Spanish.

- Pay rate is based on experience

- Hours: 10-6 weekdays and 9-2 Saturdays

- Currently we need coverage for 1-2 days as we grow our practice

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Every weekend
• Monday to Friday
