Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Administrator to oversee the operations of our senior care facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in long-term care, memory care, and leadership, with a passion for enhancing the quality of life for our residents. This role requires a compassionate individual who can effectively manage staff, ensure compliance with regulations, and foster a supportive environment for both residents and employees.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the facility, ensuring high standards of care and service are maintained.
  • Lead and mentor staff members, promoting professional development and teamwork.
  • Manage resident admissions and discharges, ensuring a smooth transition for all individuals.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures that align with best practices in senior care.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations related to long-term care and memory care.
  • Monitor medication administration processes to ensure safety and accuracy.
  • Maintain financial oversight of the facility, including budgeting and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans for residents with developmental disabilities or dementia.
  • Foster relationships with families, providing support and communication regarding resident care.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in an administrative role within long-term care or senior living environments.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
  • Knowledge of medication administration protocols and best practices in dementia care.
  • Financial acumen to manage budgets effectively and ensure fiscal responsibility.
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
  • Familiarity with group home or retirement home operations is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with residents, families, and staff members.
  • A compassionate approach to caregiving, demonstrating empathy towards residents' needs.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $26,000.00 - $44,000.00 per year
