What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Resource Office Manager position at Vidon Plastics, Inc.?
Due to an upcoming retirement, Vidon Plastics is seeking a Human Resource/Office Manager. Qualified candidate should possess:
1. A working knowledge of the entire human resource function
2. A minimum of 7 - 10 years of demonstrated human resource experience and/or a bachelor's degree in human resources
3. Good organizational skills with attention to detail
4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
MAJOR GOAL: To manage both the human resources and office administration of the Company effectively and efficiently.
Key Result Area #1: Human Resources
Performance Standards
· Manage administrative activities relating to hiring, firing, retention, and training Company personnel.
· Manage Company benefits administration including compensation, employee insurances and 401(k).
· Manage Attendance Program.
· Manage and resolve employee complaints and investigations.
· Ensure compliance of policies and procedures in the Employee Handbook and that they are consistently administered.
· Ensure compliance with federal/state/local employment laws/regulations.
· Ensure HR measurables are published monthly, quarterly, and annually.
Key Result Area #2: Office Management
Performance Standards
· Manage document control of Administration documents.
· Responsible for obtaining required signatures on the Annual Management Schedule of Plant Safety/Operations/Reporting schedule to ensure compliance of regulatory issues.
· Manage special events including company meetings, holiday parties and luncheons.
· Administration of building security system (alarm, keys, etc.).
· Administration of plant telephones.
Key Result Area #3: Management Communication
Performance Standards
· Manage Near Miss procedure/program.
· Meet daily with production supervisors and managers regarding shift personnel to help ensure smooth shift turnovers.
· Attend Management, Safety and Supervisor’s meetings.
· Assist Controller in other tasks as assigned.

Pay: From $62,000.00 per year
