Your Qualifications
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business, Accounting, or Real Estate (required).
- MBA from a top-tier university (preferred).
- Experience:
- 7 years in acquisitions, financial services, underwriting, or real estate asset management.
- Proven experience analyzing, underwriting, and executing commercial real estate transactions, with a preference for student housing expertise.
A Day in the Life
As a Senior Acquisitions Associate, you will support Vie Management’s portfolio growth by identifying investment opportunities, conducting thorough financial analyses, and managing the end-to-end acquisition process. Your role will involve close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful execution of strategic investments.
What You’ll Do
- Source and evaluate potential real estate acquisitions that align with strategic goals.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective investments through market research and networking.
- Perform underwriting and financial modeling to assess opportunities and inform decision-making.
- Conduct and coordinate due diligence activities, including risk assessments and market analysis.
- Support the preparation of investment materials and presentations for senior leadership.
- Collaborate with brokers, sellers, and other external parties to secure high-quality deals.
- Assist with the management of closing processes and post-closing activities to ensure smooth transitions.
