We are a small-batch artisan coffee roaster providing specialty-grade coffees to coffee enthusiasts across Tennessee and beyond.
We are seeking a Marketing and Events Coordinator to join our team! This individual will be responsible for planning, executing, and managing marketing initiatives and events to promote VCC and enhance our brand presence. This multifaceted role requires a combination of creativity, organizational skills, and a strategic mindset to drive customer engagement and contribute to business growth.
Job Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy Development
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to promote VCC and the Vienna Coffee House (VCH).
- Conduct market research to identify target audiences and trends.
- Collaborate with management to define marketing goals and objectives.
Event Planning and Execution:
- Plan and organize various events to promote the business, such as product launches, promotional campaigns, and community engagement activities.
- Ensure events align with the brand image and business objectives.
Strategic Marketing Development:
- Oversee the business's online presence through social media platforms, website, and email marketing.
- Create and curate content for social media posts, blogs, and newsletters.
- Utilize SEO techniques to optimize online visibility.
- Coordinate with the Director of Design to create promotional materials, including brochures, flyers, and digital assets.
- Ensure consistency in messaging and VCC branding across all marketing materials.
Collaboration and Relationship Building:
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and local businesses.
- Collaborate with other departments to align marketing strategies with overall business objectives.
Analytics and Reporting:
- Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns using analytics tools.
- Provide regular reports on key performance indicators and make data-driven recommendations for improvement including ecommerce sales.
Job Requirements
- Must love coffee!
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
- Proven experience in marketing, in a small business environment (3-5 years preferred).
Skills:
- Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent computer skills (Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint), Adobe Creative Suite, and Squarespace Software.
- Outstanding communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
Schedule/hour expectations
- Fulltime
- Expect 32-40 hrs/wk, $18-$20/hour dependent upon experience
- Flexible availability required for evening, early morning, and weekend events.
