Vighter Medical Group is recruiting a skilled Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to provide healthcare services in a detention setting. As an EMT, you will be responsible for conducting basic screening assessments, providing medical care, and ensuring the well-being of individuals detained by Customs and Border Protection (CBP).
Job Requirements:
- A minimum of one year of experience in direct patient care as a licensed or certified EMT
- SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF A US-BASED TRAINING PROGRAM LEADING TO LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION AS AN EMERGENCY MEDICAL TECHNICIAN (EMT)
- A current, active, valid, unencumbered license/registration/certification to practice healthcare in the state where you will work
- BASIC LIFE SUPPORT (BLS) CERTIFICATION FROM THE AMERICAN HEART ASSOCIATION (AHA), AMERICAN RED CROSS (ARC), OR OTHER APPROVED PROVIDER
- Ability to perform duties in a stressful and often austere environment without physical limitations
