Vighter Medical Group is seeking a skilled Medical Professional to join our team in a detention setting. As a vital member of our healthcare staff, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality care to individuals detained by Customs and Border Protection (CBP).

Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care under the medical direction of the National Medical Director and Physician Supervisors
- Conduct basic screening assessments and provide healthcare services to individuals detained by CBP
- Work within the scope of your license and certifications, performing tasks such as history and physical assessment, behavioral health care support, and minor outpatient procedures
- Consult with or work under the direct supervision of a Physician or Advanced Practice Provider (APP) for complex medical, pediatric, or psychiatric patients
- Maintain compliance with DHS and CBP policies and any overriding accreditation standards that may apply
Requirements:
- Must have a minimum of one year of experience in direct patient care and be licensed/certified as a Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse (LVN)
- Qualifying experience includes detention or correctional healthcare, residential healthcare, a hospital, outpatient clinic, nursing home, or other supervised medical, nursing, or patient care facility that provided direct patient care
- Successful completion of a US-based training program leading to licensure/certification as a Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse (LVN)
- Current, active, valid, unencumbered license/registration/certification to practice healthcare in the state in which you will work
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved organization
