Job Description:
"Product Owner - Credit Card Application" is required:
To oversee the development and management of a credit card application, acting as the primary liaison between the business, development team, and customers to ensure the product aligns with market needs, delivers a seamless user experience, and meets key business objectives by prioritizing features, defining requirements, and managing the product backlog within an agile framework, with a deep understanding of credit card regulations and customer acquisition strategies.
Relevant Experience:
Prior experience as a product owner in the financial services industry, specifically with credit card products.
Proven track record of successfully launching and managing digital products.
Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of credit card industry dynamics, regulations, and key business drivers.
- Product Management Expertise:
- Proven experience in managing product development lifecycle, including backlog prioritization, agile methodologies, and user story writing.
- Ability to understand customer needs and translate them into actionable product requirements.
- Technical Knowledge:
- Basic understanding of technology systems and development processes relevant to credit card applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define the product vision and roadmap for the credit card application, aligning it with overall business goals and market trends.
- Develop and manage the product backlog, prioritizing features and user stories based on business value and customer needs.
- Conduct market research to identify customer pain points and opportunities for product improvement.
- Collaborate with stakeholders (marketing, sales, risk management) to gather and translate business requirements into clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Analyze customer data and feedback to inform product development decisions.

- Agile Development & Delivery
- Work closely with the development team to ensure a clear understanding of product priorities and sprint goals.

- Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to monitor progress and identify areas for improvement
- Advocate for the customer perspective throughout the development process, ensuring a user-centric design.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to customer acquisition, engagement, and churn to measure product success.
- Conduct user testing and gather feedback to inform product iterations.
