SALES MANAGER - PERM FENCE

The Sales Manager is responsible for maximizing revenue and gross profit opportunities by managing the sales process for permanent installations in DFW and surrounding areas. This position is responsible for recruiting, hiring, training, and developing salespeople. Reporting to the General Manager-Perm Fence, the Sales Manager works directly with Estimators and Field Superintendents to ensure all customer needs are met in a timely manner. This position has a hybrid work environment with a base salary plus incentive compensation plan.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage bid review and proposal process for commercial fence installations, ensuring quality and outstanding customer service
• Engage with and facilitate bids with a team of Estimators, Field Superintendents, and Independent Contractor fence installers
• Manage top 25 Account Strategy, by maintaining contact with top account contacts and key decision makers
• Participate in face to face construction related networking trade association events and other opportunities to develop relationship with top 25 Accounts
• Drive growth strategy into adjacent markets
• Execute product and pricing strategies with guidance from General Manager
• Review scope of work on large commercial projects to ensure the proposal clearly captures all scope of work
• Ensure invoicing and material requirements to ensure Jobs-in-Process are managed in a timely fashion; Coordinate ongoing communication with Operations Team supporting division
• Responsible for customer satisfaction; resolving any customer disputes or service-related issues  
• Drive management initiatives that contribute to long-term operational excellence, such as improvements to the bid management process
• Work with Supply Chain team and yard/warehouse personnel to meet the needs of customers and fence installation contractors
• Perform other related duties as assigned
