As a National Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing the Regional Sales Managers to produce the most efficient, effective, and knowledgeable sales team in the industry. The National Sales Manager role includes, but not limited to, crafting division sales plans, providing industry insight to leadership team, training sales team, and driving an entrepreneurial, customer-centric spirit throughout department. Shall have Interpersonal skills and ability to negotiate. Informed about company product suites, the packaging industry and therefore able to accurately forecast sales predictions and shifts in the North American marketplace.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Motivate and energize the staff to make proactive decisions with clients
  • Develop and Manage Outside Rep groups (as needed)
  • Build annual sales plans and present to Director of Sales by end of Q2 (drafts)
  • Review existing quotes/ projects with the Regional Sales Managers
  • Establish, build, and manage strategic partnerships throughout North America
  • Serve on Manager level and sales policy making committees
  • Increase number of qualified FRQ’s (opportunities)
  • Develop cooperation and trust with internal, cross functional team members
  • Plan and staff sales team to match customer demands and sales plans
  • Ensure compliance with all departmental and company SOP’s
  • Be a continuous example of a driven, solution-based leader
  • Implement and utilize sales methodology
  • Attain proficiency in sales enablement tools such as Salesforce, Zoom Info, SharePoint, Gong, etc. to drive sales and best practices.
  • Travel as needed to provide as strong culture of continuous learning and improvement

  • Motivate and energize the sales team to make proactive decisions with clients.
  • Empower the team to recognize areas of improvement and use solution-based thought processes to solve issues.
  • Instill a "VICTOR mindset" throughout the division.
  • Foster a "Viking Masek first" mentality – no division or department is more important than another.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure customer experience consistently scores excellent.
