Villa Maria Nursing and Rehabilitation, a Short-Term Rehab and Skilled Nursing Facility located in Plainfield, CT, is seeking an Enthusiastic and Passionate Assistant Director of Nursing to join our team!
The primary purpose of your job position as the Assistant Director of Nursing (ADNS), is to assist the Director of Nursing Services (DNS) in planning organizing, developing, and directing the day-to-day functions of the Nursing Service Department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern our Facility, and as may be directed by the Administrator, the Medical Director, and/or the DNS, to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.
Additionally, she/he is responsible for facilitating the implementation of the care delivery model and processes, mentoring staff, coordination and communication with other departments and ensuring resident and family satisfaction.
In the absence of the DNS, the ADNS assumes the duties and responsibilities of the DNS.
