Villa Verde in Greenville, NC is looking for one general manager to join our 40 person strong team. We are located on 2601 E 10th Street. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, punctual, and engaged.
The General Manager oversees all aspects of a restaurant operation, ensuring smooth daily functions, exceptional customer service, staff management, financial control, and maintaining high standards of quality, all while striving to maximize profitability and guest satisfaction; key responsibilities include hiring and training staff, managing schedules, resolving customer issues, overseeing inventory, and implementing operational strategies to achieve business goals.
Key Responsibilities :
- Staff Management :
- Hire, train, and develop restaurant staff across all positions.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff.
- Create and manage employee schedules to optimize labor costs.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment.
- Operations Oversight :
- Manage daily restaurant operations, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
- Monitor food and beverage inventory levels, placing orders as needed.
- Oversee food safety and hygiene practices.
- Respond effectively to customer complaints and concerns.
- Financial Management :
- Develop and manage restaurant budget, tracking expenses and revenue.
- Analyze financial reports to identify areas for improvement
- Implement cost-saving measures to maximize profitability
- Customer Service :
- Ensure excellent guest experience through attentive service and hospitality.
- Interact with customers to address their needs and build positive relationships.
- Monitor customer feedback and implement changes to improve satisfaction
- Leadership and Planning :
- Set clear goals and objectives for the restaurant team
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the restaurant
- Stay updated on industry trends and implement innovative practices
