Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Loss Mitigation Claims Processor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing, processing, and managing claims related to loss mitigation home retention solutions. You will work closely with the claims team and internal departments to ensure claims are handled accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with industry regulations.
The ideal candidate will have experience in loss mitigation, mortgage servicing, or a related field, along with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle sensitive financial situations.
Responsibilities:
- Process and review loss mitigation claims.
- Communicate with internal departments to gather necessary documentation and ensure timely claim processing.
- Prepare and submit required documents to insurance companies, mortgage investors, and other parties involved in the claim process.
- Review claims to ensure compliance with all applicable agency and investor guidelines.
- Research and resolve discrepancies or issues related to claims in a timely manner.
- Maintain detailed records of claim status, communication, and actions taken in the company's claims management system.

Basic Qualifications:

- Proficiency in Windows and Encompass (Encompass preferred)
