Are you passionate about the patient experience? If so join our pediatric medical office as a Medical Receptionist! You will be responsible for answering incoming calls and greeting patients and families in a warm, friendly manner. You will need to be able to multitask effectively and possess excellent time management skills for this position.
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and their families.
- Answer phones and direct calls to the appropriate department.
- Schedule appointments for 4 different providers.
- Send faxes and emails.
- Verify insurance eligibility.
- Collect patient copay and balances on patient accounts.
- Scan medical records and other documentation into patient chart.
- Maintain medical records.
- Use computer, medical office software, and other technology to keep information organized.
- Assist patients with filling out forms, both physically and electronically.
- Verify all forms and consents are completed and in the patient chart.
- Data entry.

Must have qualifications/experiences:
- High school diploma, GED certification or equivalent is required.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in clerical office work.
- Experience working in a medical office setting is preferred.
- Strong computer skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
