Overnight Caregiver

Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate, dependable Overnight Caregiver to join our team. This position plays a vital role in maintaining the health, safety, and comfort of our residents during the night shift. In addition to providing light care support, the Overnight Caregiver is responsible for routine housekeeping in common areas, completing laundry tasks, and performing wellness rounds every two hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform two-hour wellness checks on residents throughout the shift, ensuring safety and attending to any immediate needs.
• Assist residents with nighttime routines and respond promptly to call lights or alerts.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in all common areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces as needed.
• Complete community laundry tasks including washing, drying, folding, and storing linens and towels.
• Monitor residents for changes in condition and report any concerns to the appropriate team member or supervisor.
• Maintain accurate records of rounds and incident reports during the shift.
• Support a calm and restful nighttime environment for residents.
• Follow all infection control, safety, and emergency procedures.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior caregiving experience, particularly in a senior living or memory care setting, is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and remain alert during overnight hours.
• Strong communication and observation skills.
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable nature.
• Must be able to lift and perform physical tasks associated with housekeeping and resident assistance.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
