What are the responsibilities and job description for the Special Children's Aide position at Village of Ashwaubenon?
The Village of Ashwaubenon is seeking a Special Children's Aide employee. The Special Children's Aide is to assist with the care, supervision and providing recreational activities for participants in the Special Children's program. Applicant must be able and willing to work one on one or in small groups with participants who may have mild - severe physical and cognitive disabilities. Responsible for daily written communication with parents in each participant's journal. This position is an 8 week (anticipated dates of June 12 - August 10, 2023, finalization to occur this spring by the Special Children's Program Board) part time employee position. There is no program offered the week of July 4th. Hours are Monday - Thursday, roughly 6:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. There are NO benefits with this position. This position is a great ground floor experience for a student majoring in Special Education or related field. Wage rate is $16.46 starting up to $17.71.
