Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor wastewater treatment equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Collect data related to water quality and treatment processes for analysis.
- Maintain and repair equipment, including pumps, motors, and valves, to ensure efficient operation.
- Utilize distributed control systems for monitoring and controlling the treatment process.
- Perform heavy lifting as needed during equipment maintenance and repair tasks.
- Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify potential issues or areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot problems and implement solutions.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and environmental standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in wastewater treatment or a related field is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform equipment repairs.
- Experience in heavy equipment operation is a plus.
- Ability to analyze data effectively for process optimization.
- Familiarity with distributed control systems is desirable.
