Summary
This position performs a wide variety of technical and clerical law enforcement support duties related to collecting, recording, transcribing, maintaining, processing, editing, retrieving, and distributing technical and confidential law enforcement data and information.
Weekly schedule: Monday- 12:00pm-6:00pm, Tuesday through Friday- 12:30pm-6:00pm, approximately 28 hours per week.
Qualifications
The position requires a high school diploma or GED and a minimum of one year of data entry, customer service, or office experience. English/Spanish fluency is strongly preferred. The hired candidate must obtain a Law Enforcement Agency Data System (LEADS) Operator Certification within twelve months of hire.
Special Requirements
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of general office procedures, excellent customer service skills, and the willingness to receive, handle and complete confidential submissions, records, reports, and data with utmost honesty, integrity and confidentiality.

This is a union position covered by Metropolitan Alliance of Police Chapter #390.
