What are the responsibilities and job description for the Back-up Maintenance/Water Operator position at Village of Duncan?
```Duties```
- Perform maintenance and other tasks dealing with the care of the town when needed
- Snow removal on streets; responding to emergency calls such as water line break or sewer back-up; water shut-off's and turn-on's; flushing hydrants twice a year with the Superintendent; mowing parks as needed; other misc. tasks
This person will be required to obtain a grade 4 water operator license. This requires a 3 day class. All costs associated with obtaining will be covered by the Village. Including any work that may be missed due to the class.
Important to know that this position will be required to cover for the superintendent when he is gone for vacation/sick. And it is a requirement to live within no more than 15-20 minute drive from Duncan.
```Experience```
- Previous experience in water/maintenance/sewer preferred
- Knowledge of wastewater systems and their maintenance requirements
- Knowledge of water systems and requirements
- Ability and experience driving tractors and riding lawn mower
