Seasonal Waterer- Public Works
Village of Hainesville
Individuals will follow a watering maintenance schedule and provide flower beds, medians, and trees with adequate watering throughout the season.
Other duties will include:
- Sweeping, mopping, washing equipment and vehicles.
- Assisting the crew when needed as directed by supervisor.
Job has repetitive tasks each week. Individuals must be ready to be outside for majority of their shift and must be independently driven. No outside work will be needed on rain days, unless otherwise scheduled by supervisor.
Hours: 7:30am and 3:30 pm, Monday – Friday. 30 minute lunch on employees time
Position Start: May 5th, 2025. Position will continue until approximately October 24th depending on schedule or untill employee reaches 1000 hrs in the calendar year. Interviews will start in April and decisions will be made by April 18th. 1 position to be filled.
Salary: $18.00 per hour. No benefits are included.
Requirements:
- A valid Illinois Driver License, and reliable transportation.
- Must successfully pass drug and alcohol screening, criminal background and driving record check.
- Must be able to lift or carry a weight up to 80 lbs.
