The Village of Little Chute, WI (Pop. 12,164) is accepting applications for our next Program
Supervisor. The selected candidate will have an opportunity to be part of a fast-growing Fox Valley
community. The position is responsible for assisting the Director of Parks, Recreation & Forestry in
the planning, organizing, development, and budgeting of department programs. The Program
Supervisor performs a variety of administrative, supervisory, and technical work in the
administration of recreation programming, operations, special events, and related functions.
Located in the Fox Valley area along the Fox River, Little Chute was founded in 1899 and has
a rich history as a European settlement. The community holds true to its Dutch roots and is home to
the famous windmill in the heart of downtown. Little Chute is a full-service community, a fantastic
place to live, work, learn and play. The Village boasts a high-achieving school district, an affordable
growing housing market, and strong recreational assets that host many events to bring people
together.
This position is vital in the community, managing various operations ranging from
program development and execution as well as administrative duties. Our Program Supervisor
oversees seasonal recreation staff, youth dance program staff, other youth/adult employees, subcontractors, sports officials, and scorers in the department. We are seeking an individual with
strong recreational and programming experience, the ability to execute a high level of
organizational skills and effectively communicate information to a variety of our stakeholders in
and out of the organization.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in Recreation or related field with at least two years
of community recreation supervisory experience (3-5 years preferred), or any combination of
experience and education that provides equivalent knowledge, skills, and abilities. Basic math and
strong interpersonal communication, regular attendance, punctuality and the ability to use
Microsoft 365 are required.

evening and weekend work. The starting salary range is $66,206 - $71,905 (Steps 1-4 on an 11-point
scale) depending on qualifications with the opportunity for annual step increases and COLA
