The Village of White Pigeon is seeking a Department of Public Works Employee. This position will be full time and will offer health benefits after 30 days, retirement plans, vacation and sick time after one year. Applicants must be a minimum of 18 years of age, have a valid drivers license, be able to obtain a CDL, Water Operator License and pass a health physical and drug screening. Applicant must have ability to proficiently use computers and related technology for the preparation of records and reports. Basic plumbing skills, working knowledge of basic tools and lawn equipment. Applicant must be able to communicate effectively with staff and residents. Also, must be able to be at work within 30 minutes of notice for emergencies and be able to withstand working in different weather elements outdoors.
