Job Overview
Villagran Homes specializes in commercial/residential construction. We are currently expanding our operations and looking to grow our team. We are seeking a skilled and detailed-oriented bookkeeper/administrative assistant with experience in QuickBooks with the potential for long term employment and great opportunities for growth. As a bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and assisting in the overall financial management of our organization.
Responsibilities:
- Recording transactions accurately and efficiently using QuickBooks
- Reconciling bank statements with QuickBooks entries to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain financial records and documents
- Prepare financial statements and reports
- Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including issuing invoices, tracking payments.
- Processing payroll
- Prepare tax returns and other documents for filing
- Coordinating purchase orders
- Perform office administrative tasks such as filing, data entry and answering phones
- Provide customer service to clients
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, with a strong understanding of accounting principles.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks software is essential.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in recording financial transactions.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of integrity and the ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
- Is capable of partaking in other clerical and administrative tasks.
- Fluent in both English and Spanish.

Education and Experience:
- Diploma in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration (Preferred/Optional)
- A min of 2 year of accounting or bookkeeping experience (Required)
- QuickBooks Online/Desktop experience required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 28 – 40 per week
