Position Overview:
Recruits roles for Villari Foods, ensuring that roles are filled in a timely manner. Manages the entire candidate journey. Responsible for all sourcing relationships.
Specific Duties:
- Review incoming applications, communicates with candidates and hiring managers, schedules interviews in a timely manner.
- Issues offer calls and offer letters to accepted candidates.
- Manage and maintain relationships with staffing agencies.
- Set strategy and manage all communication with branding strategy; career website, job boards, social media posts, etc.
- Manage employee referral program communication to the company. Work with the Payroll Specialist to ensure accuracy in pay out.
- Schedule orientation for new incoming employees.
- Manage and maintain all job boards and external postings for accuracy.
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships in the community to open funnel for additional candidates.
- Solicits employee reviews for boost to online reputation on job boards.
- Uses data and and analytics to target recruitment strategies and funds.
- Leads weekly recruiting calls with leadership to discuss operations needs.
Essential Job Functions
Qualifications:
- Recruitment.
- Business relationship management.
- Strong Communication.
- Knowledge of labor laws, especially in regards to recruitment.
Education and/or Experience :
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 3 to 5 years of related experience.
- SHRM certification a plus.
- Manufacturing/Processing Plant experience is a plus.
Language:
Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar. Ability to understand Spanish and Haitian Crole and to translate from English into these languages and vice versa strongly preferred.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Reasoning:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations where only limited direction exists.
Other Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, stenography and transcription, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology.
- Excellent communication skills, ability to handle multiple tasks, organize, and prioritize workloads, and a willingness to learn. Must have the ability to work and contribute in a team environment and manage relationships well.
- Basic knowledge of labor legislation.
- Good understanding of HR operations (recruiting, onboarding, training and compensation).
Physical Demands:
The job duties require the ability to sit up to 4 hours at a time, the ability to stand for up to 1 hour at a time, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, to push/pull up to 25 pounds, the ability to operate office machines requiring manual dexterity and repetitive key entry for up to 4 hours at a time.
