Role : Network Engineer
Location : Austin, Texas
Duration : Contract
Job Description :
Installing network hardware, components, and cabling.
Troubleshooting and resolving issues on the network.
Ability to rack and stack networking hardware within onsite and off-site racks following best practices.
Ability to provide technical support through various means of communication.
Collaborate easily with business units and project managers.
Assisting the operations team in the form of network design, implementation, and problem resolution.
Meet quality, productivity, turnaround time, and other expectations.
After-hour support and any other ad hoc duties.
Optimize stability, availability, reliability, and resiliency of networking infrastructure.
Conduct and make recommendations on LAN, WAN, Cyber Security, and capacity planning.
WORKER SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS (Required) Minimum (Required) :
Skills / Experience 8 Designing and implementing new network solutions and / or improving the efficiency of current networks, SDWAN, AWS / Cloud Services
8 Installing, configuring, and supporting network equipment including routers, switches, WAN, accelerators, DNS, Security equipment, and DHCP.
8 Wireless Design, Routing and Configuration implementation
8 Cisco 4145, Fortinet, ASA, SIEM's
8 Vulnerability Management, Lifecycle management of network equipment
4 Working Knowledge of Cisco DNA Center and Cisco Identity Services Engine Strong sense of responsibility and be driven to finish mission CCNP Certification, ITIL Foundation, CCDA, CCDP
10 Experience managing complex technical projects with minimal guidance.
