Delivery Driver
Overview:
We are a small local delivery service looking for a couple more drivers. 1 shift is Tuesday-Friday and the other Wednesday-Friday. The shifts start between 7:30 and 8:30 in the morning but route lengths vary so the hours a somewhat flexible depending on what people need. We always pay a minimum of 7 hours per day even if a day is shorter.
We have delivery routes all over southern and central Maine. Drivers do the same sequence of routes each week, so you get to know the stops and quirks of each customer. All our vehicles are normal cargo vans, so no CDL is needed.
Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate delivery vehicles. All vehicles are normal cargo vans. No CDL needed.
- Dispatch at the the warehouse helps load the van in the order of the route but drivers need to execute the delivery routes in order to deliver on time.
- The boxes weight about 40lbs each so drivers must be able to lift medium weight boxes all through the day.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to address problems or issues.
Experience:
- No experience needed. A positive attitude is most important and we will train.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $21.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 21 – 35 per week
