What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrical Fabrication Supervisor position at Vinci?
ELECTRICAL FABRICATION SUPERVISOR required by our Client, within the Renewables industry, to be assigned on a Contract basis, located in Port of Coeymans, New York, USA.
Duration : 12 months
Principal responsibilities :
- Represent our Client during fabrication of the electrical systems on the Turbine Foundations, including but not limited to LV systems, Earthing system, Array Cables Support, Measurements and SCADA / Radio systems. Supervise contractor to ensure successful fabrication and assembly of the Turbine Foundations on time and within the required Quality standards and HSE regulations.
- Ensures that free-issued equipment and components are installed, handled, and maintained in accordance with the project and vendor requirements.
- Supervise commissioning / testing of electrical systems.
- Advice and support to the Foundation Fabrication Manager.
- Ensure that Contractor is in line with agreed design and to required spec / quality.
- Keep and maintain a safe work environment within the team and the contractors / sub-contractors on site according to HSE guidelines and local procedures.
- Support of all relevant interfaces between Contractors, Sub-Contractors, Contractors QA / QC Representatives.
- Electrical Supervisor reports to the Fabrication Manager.
