The Restoration Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the restoration division, including mitigation, estimating, project management, and field operations. This role requires a proactive leader who can drive operational success, improve team performance, and maintain strong relationships with customers, insurance carriers, and internal departments.
POISITION OVERVIEW:
At Vines, we are dedicated to restoring homes and businesses after disasters. Our Property Restoration Division specializes in fire, water, and mold remediation, delivering top-tier service with integrity, expertise, and compassion. We are seeking a Restoration Operations Manager to lead and enhance our operations, ensuring efficiency, profitability, and outstanding customer service.
✅ Oversee daily operations of the mitigation and reconstruction teams, ensuring timely and high-quality service delivery.
✅ Manage estimating and scoping processes, ensuring accurate project assessments and estimates (Xactimate experience preferred).
✅ Develop and implement standard operating procedures for restoration projects, from emergency response to project completion.
✅ Monitor DASH and Docusketch software usage to ensure proper documentation and compliance.
✅ Lead, train, and mentor mitigation technicians, estimators, and project managers, fostering professional growth and teamwork.
✅ Ensure compliance with IICRC standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
✅ Track KPIs, financial performance, and job profitability, identifying areas for improvement.
✅ Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors, ensuring quality workmanship and timely execution.
✅ Communicate effectively with insurance adjusters, commercial clients, and homeowners throughout the restoration process.
✅ Participate in on-call rotations for emergency response when disaster strikes.
QUALIFICATIONS:
✔ 5 years of experience in restoration operations, project management, or a similar leadership role.
✔ Strong knowledge of water, fire, and mold mitigation processes.
✔ Experience with Xactimate, DASH, Docusketch, and ServiceTitan (preferred but not required).
✔ IICRC certifications (WRT, ASD, AMRT, FSRT) .
✔ Proven ability to lead teams, manage multiple projects, and ensure operational efficiency.
✔ Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
✔ Strong financial and business acumen with the ability to manage budgets, job costs, and profitability.
✔ Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with a proactive approach.
✔ Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a background check.
