What are the responsibilities and job description for the Weekend Front Desk / Concierge position at Vineyard Park at Bothell Landing?
Vineyard Park Assisted Living, the area's premier Assisted Living is looking for a Weekend Concierge. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years’ experience as a receptionist or in customer service. It’s also important that you like working with seniors and the public. You’ll be answering the phone, greeting visitors, conducting tours and helping answer residents’ questions. You'll also occasionally assist with small tasks in the dining room and perform basic office tasks such as filing, typing and organizing.
We’re looking for an honest, mature, reliable, friendly and energetic professional with excellent communication skills. As the concierge your job responsibilities will include:
- Answering the phone quickly, and answering questions about the community and our services. You’ll also be taking calls from residents, medical professionals, potential customers, friends and family.
- Interacting with a variety of residents who call or come to the Concierge Desk throughout the day with questions, needs and comments.
- You’ll be responsible for giving tours of the community to potential customers and talking about why life at Vineyard Park is such a great option. Previous sales experience is not necessary but a warm and friendly personality is.
- Assisting service staff in the dining room as needed with tasks such as pouring coffee or getting a beverage, taking an occasional order or assisting residents to their table.
Hours for the Concierge position are 8:30 am – 5:00 pm Sunday and Monday. Salary is DOE.
