JOB SUMMARY:
The Quality Control Technician will be responsible for the inspection of new vehicles, and the quality of control of all repairs before delivery of the vehicles.
Responsibilities & Key Activities
- Conduct detailed inspection of vehicles for exterior and interior fit and finish quality with attention to paint quality or panel assembly fit
- Inspect vehicle functionality to identify properly functioning services and identify features that are not functional and need diagnosis or repairs.
- Identify defects, errors, or other issues with products and document them appropriately
- Maintain detailed documentation of all quality control inspections and tests
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality control policies and procedures
- Work with and support repair technicians to resolve vehicle issues

Position Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; further training or certification in quality control or related field is a plus
- 5 years of practical experience as an automotive quality control technician or similar role
- Knowledge of quality control standards and regulations
- Ability to operate and maintain automotive testing equipment
- Detail oriented with strong observation skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
