Technician (Automotive)

JOB SUMMARY:

The Technician is highly skilled and capable of working independently, while providing an excellent customer experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES & KEY ACTIVITIES:

• Provide top of the line customer experience
• Ability to diagnose and repair general electrical systems, while maintaining high voltage awareness
• Communicate and collaborate with all members of the service team
• Follow correct repair order documentation of all repair procedures
• Review appointment schedule, plan travel time and visit duration for mobile services
• Demonstrate attention to detail and passion for creating positive client experiences
• Clean, maintain and organize the mobile service vehicle
• Creatively solve customer concerns in a fast-paced work environment
• Work with the appropriate management software to properly document the customer vehicle repair process
• Have a passion for sustainable transportation and changing the automotive industry
• LEVEL 1 Technician Starts at $36.00 per hour and goes UP Depending on Technician's level. Level 3, 4 and 5 Technicians pay in the $40.00's per hour.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma/GED or Relevant work experience
• 21 years of age, to comply with company driving policy
• Ability to drive a work truck/trailer
• Knowledge of High Voltage systems, Low Voltage systems, and Electric Vehicle powertrains
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organized
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
• Ability to use basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office, as well as learn proprietary DMS software
• EPA 609 Certification
• ASE Certification(s)
• Must possess a valid driver license

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $36.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime
• Weekends as needed

Ability to Relocate:

• Bakersfield, CA 93387: Relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Salary : $36 - $40
